The anti-Turin syndrome
The anti-Turin syndrome is when you instead of panicking first calmly investigate the situation only to find out that there are absolutely no reason to panic at all.
The Turin syndrome
The Turin syndrome is the unfortunate example that terrorism has succeeded in spreading fear. Under the match between Juventus and Real Madrid the 03.06.17 more than 1500 people were injured in piazza di San Carlo in Turin, after somebody used a firecracker that led to panic to leave the square, as the public thought they were under a terrorist attack.
Nobody died under the stampede, but 3 people were seriously hurt.
